Showbiz, sports, and media legends receive prestigious recognition

LAHORE: The International Achievers Awards Season 3, organised by West World Group UK & UAE, paid tribute to some of Pakistan’s most celebrated figures in showbiz, sports, and media.

The grand event, held in February at a prestigious Lahore hotel, gathered over 300 participants from 10 countries, including leading celebrities, government officials, and business elites.

Lifetime Achievement Awards

The night’s most prestigious honours, the Lifetime Achievement Awards, were bestowed upon legendary figures who have shaped Pakistan’s entertainment and cultural landscape.

Acclaimed actor Imran Ashraf receives the Trend Setter Host Award for his outstanding contributions to television.

Recipients included:

  • Syed Noor – Renowned filmmaker and scriptwriter
  • Ghulam Mohyuddin – Veteran actor known for his contributions to cinema
  • Ustad Hamid Ali Khan – Classical music maestro and ghazal legend
  • Zahoor Ahmed Lohar, Nadeem Abbas Loonay Wala, Rashid Mehmood, Asim Bukhari, Rasheed Ali, Charlie Mamu, Waseem Baqir, Syeda Arfa Zahra, and Aisam ul Haq – Celebrated names in film, television, music, and sports

Trend Setter Host Award

The event also celebrated contemporary excellence, with acclaimed actor Imran Ashraf receiving the Trend Setter Host Award for his contributions to television and hosting.

Cinema icon Syed Noor, music maestro Ustad Hamid Ali Khan, and other Pakistani legends honoured with Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Beyond the arts, the awards recognised outstanding professionals in various fields. Deputy Commissioner Kot Addo Syed Munawwar Abbas Bukhari, GM PTV Multan Sheeraz Durrani, Member FBR Dr. Hamid Atique Serwar, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Nizami, President Lahore Press Club Arehad Ansari, and VP Lahore Chamber Shahid Nazir were honoured for their professional achievements and contributions to society.

A star-studded gathering

The ceremony welcomed distinguished guests, including Hendrik Ven Dar Ham, a prominent Dutch businessman and developer, alongside Consul Generals from the Philippines, Kazakhstan, and Sri Lanka. Other notable attendees included Malik Asim of Branded Cut Pieces, Hamza Tayyib of Hamza Collections, and Najam Mazari of Chiltan Pure Pakistan.

Captivating musical performances added energy and excitement to the star-studded evening.

Musical tributes

A night celebrating legends was incomplete without music, and the audience enjoyed soulful performances by model and actor Bilal Zafer Iqbal and singer Shakir Samrat, adding a vibrant touch to the evening.

Next stop: Malaysia

Speaking at the event, Naima Lashari, Founder and CEO of West World Group UK & UAE, expressed gratitude to the guests and media while congratulating the awardees. She announced that the next International Achievers Awards ceremony will take place in May in Malaysia, continuing the tradition of honouring the country’s greatest talents on a global stage.
