Sharjah: The Sharjah Investment Forum (SIF 2024) is set to convene a global gathering of industry leaders and experts to explore the future of smart economies. Organised by the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah) under the theme ‘A Futuristic Vision for Smart Economies,’ the event will take place from September 18 to 19 at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre.
SIF 2024 promises a series of high-level discussions, keynote speeches, and workshops tackling critical issues like the future of manufacturing, advancements in agriculture, innovations in logistics, and the role of AI in enhancing food security and supply chain management.
Leading the UAE contingent at SIF will be Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, and Khalifa Musbah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock. Joining them will be Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, CEO of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), and Mohamed Juma Al Musharrkh, CEO of Invest in Sharjah.
SIF: A platform for knowledge exchange and investment
Marwan Saleh Alichla, coordinator general of the SIF Committee, highlighted the forum's commitment to fostering knowledge exchange and investment opportunities. "SIF 2024 provides a unique platform for investors, business leaders, and entrepreneurs to explore the latest trends and exchange knowledge," he said. "This year's agenda tackles the most pressing global challenges and opportunities, with a focus on key topics of mutual interest to decision-makers and business leaders across various economies."

The forum will also feature influential CEOs from leading UAE companies, including Khaled Al Huraimel (Beeah Group), Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi (Emirates Development Bank), Hussain Al Mahmoudi (Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park), Sara Bilhaif Al Nuaimi (Sheraa), and Mohamed Khadiri (Bank of Sharjah).
SIF 2024 goes beyond regional expertise, welcoming a distinguished array of international experts. Among them are Morgan Eldred (Digital Energy), Liesl Yearsley (Akiin AI), Bobby Stattelman (Falcons.AI), Rajesh Garg (Landmark Retail), and Kris Fade (entrepreneur and radio host).
