ABU DHABI: An Indian banker in Dubai, has started her New Year with an unforgettable milestone – winning Dh1 million in Big Ticket’s final Millionaire e-Draw for December 2024.
Originally from Kerala, Georgina George has been living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) her entire life, living in Dubai with her husband and two children.
Her journey with Big Ticket began five years ago when she regularly purchased tickets with her colleagues. However, the winning ticket was a spur-of-the-moment decision, bought alongside her husband to test their luck.
Georgina, 46, was initially sceptical when she received the live call announcing her win. “I wasn’t entirely familiar with Richard’s voice, so my first thought was that it might be a scam,” she admitted. But once the reality sank in, she was overwhelmed with joy. She plans to reinvest her winnings, focusing on her children’s higher education.
Big Ticket’s January extravaganza
Kicking off 2025 with grandeur, Big Ticket is offering a guaranteed Dh25 million grand prize as part of its January promotion. Every week, one lucky participant will walk away with Dh1 million in the weekly e-draws.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. The Big Win Contest is back, allowing participants who purchase at least two tickets in a single transaction from January 1 to 26 to compete in the grand finale live draw on February 3. Four contestants will vie for cash prizes ranging from Dh20,000 to Dh150,000.

Luxury prizes await participants
In addition to cash prizes, Big Ticket is giving participants the chance to win luxury vehicles. A BMW M440i will be awarded in the February 3 draw, while a Range Rover Velar awaits its new owner in the March 3 draw.
