From dazzling couture to cutting-edge ready-to-wear, Dubai Fashion Week kicks off spring/summer 2025 with star-studded showcases and exclusive events
Dubai: Get ready, fashionistas! Dubai Fashion Week (DFW), the city’s ultimate style event co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3) and the Arab Fashion Council, is set to dazzle tomorrow with its Spring/Summer 2025 edition. This week-long fashion extravaganza will spotlight Dubai’s role as a global fashion hub, showcasing a breathtaking lineup of top-tier and emerging designers from around the world.
Couture kickoff
The first three days are all about haute couture. The runway will sizzle with star power as Rizman Ruzaini, the designer duo celebrated by celebrities, takes the stage on opening day. On September 2, Spain’s fashion maestro Adolfo Dominguez will present his latest creations, followed by Dubai’s very own Mrs. Keepa on September 3. French Egyptian designer Mariam Yeya, known for her avant-garde style, will debut Mrs. Keepa’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “Need Therapy,” accompanied by a poignant short film in partnership with VOX Cinemas, exploring the realities of everyday life.

Ready-to-wear revelations
From September 4, the focus shifts to ready-to-wear collections, featuring over 30 brands from fashion capitals across France, India, Italy, and more. Attendees can indulge in bespoke shopping experiences, curated in collaboration with top retailers. The grand finale on September 6 will see Italian fashion legend Roberto Cavalli close the runway with an exclusive collection just for DFW, followed by private appointments and a buyers' market, offering a VIP experience for industry insiders.

Italian fashion flair
DFW is also rolling out the red carpet for “La Moda Italiana: Dubai Edition,” an exclusive exhibition running from September 1 to 3. In collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, this inaugural event will showcase 25 premium Italian brands, offering a rare peek into Italy’s rich fashion heritage and highlighting the growing cultural synergy between Italy and the UAE.
Thread talks 3.0 - fashion’s future
On September 4, dive into the future of fashion with Thread Talks 3.0. This dynamic panel, powered by Meta and DFW, will feature industry trailblazers discussing the latest trends and challenges shaping the fashion landscape.
Citywide style festivities
DFW isn’t just about runway shows—it's a citywide fashion celebration! From exclusive private dinners and a buyers' lunch hosted by d3 to a grand closing gala by Kiko Milano, the week promises unparalleled networking opportunities. Additional events by Swarovski, Instagram, and other leading brands will deepen industry connections.
Sustainable fashion and strategic alliances
