Flynas has begun operating 7 weekly flights from Jeddah and 2 weekly flights from Madinah to Sharjah

Sharjah:  Sharjah Airport has officially welcomed the first flights of Saudi Arabia's leading low-cost airline, Flynas. This marks a significant expansion of the airport's international aviation network, catering to the growing demand for air travel and cargo services.

The inaugural flights were celebrated with a special ceremony attended by high-level officials from both Sharjah and Saudi Arabia. His Excellency Sheikh Faisal Bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), and Sultan Al Khaldi, KSA Sales Director at Flynas, were among those present to witness this momentous occasion.

Schedule 

Flynas will operate a total of 9 weekly flights to Sharjah, with 7 flights from Jeddah and 2 flights from Madinah. The airline will utilize its Boeing 737 aircraft to serve the route, offering convenient and affordable travel options for passengers.

Tourism growth

His Excellency Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of SAA, expressed his pride in Flynas joining the airport's network of airlines. He emphasized the airport's commitment to expanding its services and facilities to meet the increasing demand for air travel, while also contributing to Sharjah's tourism growth.

The addition of Flynas to Sharjah Airport's roster of airlines further strengthens the connection between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Both countries have seen a surge in tourism, trade, and investment, making air travel between them a popular choice.
