Dubai: Over 55,000 visitors expected as ATM 2025 set for record attendance

DUBAI: With just three weeks until Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, the event is on track to welcome a record-breaking number of high-value visitors. 

Registrations have surged by 104 percent compared to the same period last year, solidifying ATM’s position as a pivotal platform for the global travel industry. International attendees account for 52 percent of total registrations, underscoring the event’s global appeal, while visitors from the UAE and GCC contribute 48 percent.

Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market, stated: “Increased international attendance strengthens the global profile of ATM, providing a vital boost to the local economy and driving revenue in sectors such as hospitality, retail, and travel.”

Top source markets

The five most represented countries among registered visitors so far are the UAE, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. India, with its booming outbound travel market and expanding aviation sector, remains a crucial driver of demand.

Last year, ATM 2024 recorded remarkable visitor growth from Africa (51 percent), Asia Pacific (53 percent), Europe (40 percent), and the Middle East (26 percent). The Gulf region also saw sharp increases, with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait growing by 48 percent, 40 percent, 39 percent, 28 percent, and 37 percent, respectively.

ATM 2025

This year’s edition is expected to host over 55,000 attendees, including approximately 37,000 visitors and 7,000 high-profile buyers. More than 2,800 companies will showcase their offerings, representing over 161 destinations worldwide.

ATM 2025 will revolve around the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity”, exploring the role of connectivity in shaping the industry. Beyond technology, the focus will be on cross-sector collaboration and fostering tourism-driven trade.

ATM Travel Tech, which has expanded by 23 percent year-over-year, will feature the Future Stage, where industry leaders from Booking.com, TripAdvisor, dnata Travel Group, Agoda, and Skyscanner will discuss innovations shaping travel and hospitality.

Additionally, the newly introduced Start-up and Innovation Zone will offer a fully immersive VR experience, providing a dynamic space for emerging travel pioneers to showcase groundbreaking ideas and cutting-edge solutions. With such expansions, ATM 2025 is set to be its most impactful edition yet.
