Dubai:   Ellington Properties, a leading real estate developer in Dubai, has announced a new art competition as part of its Ellington Art Foundation initiative. The contest, titled “Shaping the Sea: Sculptural Art on the Shore,” invites artists to create installations for the upcoming Ellington Beach House.

The winning sculptures will be featured at the entrances of the luxury property, with submissions due by September 20th, 2024.

Elevating the legacy of art and architecture

Ellington Properties, known for its commitment to blending art with luxury living, has a history of incorporating artistic elements into its real estate projects. Since its establishment in 2015, the Ellington Art Foundation has played a pivotal role in this vision, transforming residential spaces into vibrant showcases of creativity. Through collaborations with emerging and established artists, the foundation has successfully integrated art into some of Dubai’s most prestigious developments, such as Belgravia and DT1.

The theme

The latest initiative, “Shaping the Sea: Sculptural Art on the Shore,” takes this commitment to a new level. The competition challenges artists to explore the powerful interplay between the ocean’s dynamic energy and the shoreline’s natural rhythm. By inviting artists to create sculptures that embody this theme, Ellington Properties aims to enrich the experience at Ellington Beach House, making it not just a place to live but a destination where art and architecture coexist seamlessly.

Attractive designs.
