DUBAI: The UAE Lottery, the nation’s sole licensed lottery, has revealed six winners who each took home Dh100,000 in its latest Lucky Day Draw.

Among them are Indian and Filipino expatriates whose Lucky Chance IDs paved the way for this life-changing moment.

Thirupathi Lamba, a 34-year-old Indian residing in Abu Dhabi, is one of the fortunate winners. With over a decade of experience working in the UAE, he described his win as “amazing” and encouraged others to try their luck. “I’ve been telling everyone to participate. It’s secure, and you never know when it might be your turn,” he said. Sharing his plans for the prize money, Thirupathi said he will prioritise his family. “A portion will go to my mother, wife, and my children’s education,” he added.

Another Indian winner, Nishad Palliyattel from Kerala, shared his dreams after winning Dh100,000. “I’ll help my family, start a business, and then travel,” he said, filled with excitement for the future.

Suresh Puthuparambil, from Kerala, has been living in Dubai for 37 years. He was introduced to the UAE Lottery by a company auditor and decided to participate for the first time. “I purchased a ticket and got the first number. My advice is if you try, you can win. If you don’t try, you will not… so you need to keep trying,” he said.

Subramanian Velayutham, from Tamil Nadu, and Lalimen Joseph, from Kerala, have been working in the UAE for the past 10 years. They discovered the UAE Lottery through social media and a friend’s recommendation. “The first time, I took four tickets,” Subramanian said. The duo tried their luck together and turned small wins into an incredible Dh100,000. Their story of teamwork and perseverance serves as a reminder of the possibilities that come with participation.

Kevin Lexter Soriano, a Filipino resident in the UAE since 2013, also became a Dh100,000 winner. Calling The UAE Lottery his “lucky charm,” Kevin immediately entered another draw after receiving the winning call. “If you haven’t tried yet, just join. You never know when it’s your turn,” he urged fellow participants.
