DUBAI: Pakistan has made a prominent debut at Gulfood Manufacturing 2024, with a dedicated pavilion inaugurated by Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi and Zubair Motiwala, Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) today.

This marks Pakistan’s first-time participation in this premier food manufacturing and processing event, being held between November 5-7 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Pakistan Pavilion was set up under the aegis of TDAP, showcasing the country's growing expertise in food processing, packaging, and supply chain solutions.

Pakistan's ambassador in UAE, the Consul General in Dubai, and the TDAP chief executive engaged with exhibitors at the Pakistani Pavilion, Gulfood Manufacturing 2024.

Ambassador Tirmizi, who has been a central figure in promoting Pakistan's industrial capabilities in the UAE, expressed enthusiasm over Pakistan’s presence at the event. “Twenty-one exhibitors from Pakistan, supported by TDAP, and eight independently participating companies are here to showcase their expertise in food ingredients, processing and packaging, printing, labelling, and supply chain solutions,” said Ambassador Tirmizi.

Gulfood Manufacturing, known for advancing the global food processing sector through innovation, attracts over 1,200 exhibitors from 60 countries each year.

Pakistan's participation is a significant step towards enhancing the nation’s food manufacturing and export potential on a global platform.

Pakistan makes its debut at Gulfood Manufacturing 2024, running between November 5-7 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Ambassador Tirmizi, along with Consul General Hussain Muhammad and Trade Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, toured the Pakistani Pavilion, engaging with exhibitors to understand their innovative contributions to the food and beverage sector.

“It’s a wonderful experience, and I am immensely pleased that Pakistani exhibitors are here to avail this opportunity for showcasing their packaging and food processing capabilities,” Motiwala expressed pride in the participating exhibitors while highlighting Pakistan’s potential in this dynamic industry.

The Commercial Section at the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai offered extensive assistance, ensuring smooth operations and pre-event arrangements for all exhibitors.
