Islamabad: In a major advancement for Tunisia-Pakistan tourism, direct flights from Pakistan to Tunisia are expected to begin in October 2024. This development was unveiled during a strategic meeting at Emirates Airlines Headquarters in Islamabad, hosted by the Embassy of Tunisia in Pakistan and the Honorary Consul for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The meeting, which included key representatives from prominent Pakistani travel agencies, saw a commitment to work closely with Emirates Airlines and the Tunisian National Tourism Agency to promote the new flights and enhance tourism to Tunisia.
Spotlighting Tunisia’s attractions
During the session, the Chargée d’Affaires at the Tunisian Embassy presented a comprehensive overview of Tunisia’s attractions, highlighting its rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and vibrant tourism scene. The presentation aimed to showcase Tunisia’s appeal as a safe and desirable destination for global travelers.

The introduction of these direct flights is expected to strengthen tourism ties between the two nations, facilitating easier access for Pakistani tourists to explore Tunisia’s diverse offerings.
