The master-planned community will feature a mix of residential villas, townhouses, and apartments, along with a variety of commercial and leisure facilities. The development will include schools, hospitals, mosques, and retail spaces, along with entertainment venues and green spaces, all set within landscaped surroundings featuring iconic monuments, water features, and a central park.
Strategically located near Al Maktoum International Airport, which is set to become the world’s largest upon completion, the project is positioned to cater to both residents and investors. The area has already seen increasing interest from global investors, making it a prime location for long-term growth.
Sales set to begin in 2025
The launch of sales for the off-plan units is set for January 2025, with Bahria Town expecting strong demand. The project’s success will likely have a significant impact on the Dubai South region, further enhancing its reputation as one of the fastest-growing residential and commercial hubs in Dubai.
The agreement between BT Holding and Dubai South was officially signed in a ceremony attended by key figures from both entities, including Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, and Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik, CEO of BT Properties Dubai.

A vision for sustainable growth
Bahria Town's involvement in Dubai South will not only provide residential options but will also help drive sustainable urban growth in the region. The development will integrate green and water features, creating a serene yet vibrant environment for its future residents.
Dubai South, one of Dubai’s most ambitious urban developments, is designed to accommodate up to 1 million residents once Al Maktoum International Airport is fully operational. The collaboration with Bahria Town is expected to play a pivotal role in supporting this goal, with the project's luxury offerings attracting investors and residents alike.
“We are pleased to sign this agreement with Bahria Town, one of the most reputable developers in Asia,” said Khalifa Al Zaffin. “Dubai South is poised to become the city of the future, and this development will take investment and living standards to new heights.”
As part of its expanding portfolio, Bahria Town aims to bring its expertise in large-scale community developments to the UAE market. The developer’s parent company has already created over 285 square kilometres of land in Pakistan, including a township in Karachi that will house up to 5 million residents.
