160,000 fans set to experience UAE's biggest open-air concerts ever
Coldplay, the legendary British rock band, is set to captivate fans in Abu Dhabi this January with four back-to-back, sold-out performances.
As part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour, the concerts will take place at Zayed Sports City Stadium on January 9, 11, 12, and 14.
The concerts are expected to draw an estimated 160,000 attendees, marking the largest open-air concerts in the history of United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Timings
The event promises an unforgettable experience, with gates opening at 5:00PM. Early attendees can enjoy the pre-show atmosphere at the Fanzone, which opens at 3:00PM.
Performances
The entertainment lineup includes:
6:00PM: Shone (French-Zimbabwean hip-hop artist)
6:30PM: Elyanna (Palestinian singer-songwriter)
7:45PM: Coldplay (Main act, delivering their iconic hits with stunning visuals)
The final entry will be strictly at 8:30PM, so fans are urged to arrive early to ensure they don’t miss out.
Tickets
Tickets are digital and must be downloaded via Ticketmaster 72 hours before the event. Each ticket features a unique QR code for scanning at the designated entrance.
Fans should avoid purchasing from unauthorised resellers, as counterfeit tickets will not be accepted. Physical or email tickets will not be available.
Shuttle bus and parking
To ensure smooth traffic flow, there will be no parking available at the venue or nearby areas. Free park-and-ride shuttle services will operate from various locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Shuttle services are available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be booked via Ticketmaster.

Event guidelines
- Children under 5 years are not permitted.
- Under-14 attendees must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older.
- Under-14s are not allowed in the pitch standing area.
- Only small bags (A4 size or smaller) are allowed for faster entry.
- The event is cashless; credit/debit cards or mobile payment are required.
Sustainability initiatives
Coldplay remains committed to sustainability with several green initiatives. Fans are encouraged to use shuttle services and bring refillable water bottles (non-metal or glass) for use at free water stations.
Unused food will be donated to local charities as part of the band's community-driven efforts.
