Champions Trophy 2025 anthem: ICC drops exciting teaser featuring Atif Aslam
Pakistan and UAE set to host mega cricket event this month

DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially dropped a teaser for the much-anticipated official anthem of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Featuring the renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, the anthem is expected to capture the excitement and energy of the tournament, set to be held in Pakistan from 19 February to 9 March.
Atif Aslam, a household name in the Pakistani and global music industry, brings his signature vocal power to the anthem, which is poised to become a fan favourite. Known for delivering chart-topping hits across multiple genres, Aslam's involvement adds a special flair to the Champions Trophy’s return after an eight-year hiatus.
The teaser, released on ICC’s social media platforms, offers a sneak peek into the anthem’s high-energy beats and visuals. The full song is scheduled to be unveiled on Friday, further building anticipation for the tournament.
Champions Trophy 2025
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 marks a significant milestone, as it will be the first ICC event hosted in Pakistan in nearly three decades. The tournament will feature the top eight ODI teams, with matches scheduled across Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi. Pakistan, the defending champions, lifted the trophy in 2017 after defeating India in the final at The Oval, London.
While Pakistan was initially set to host all matches, changes were made after India opted not to send its team due to security concerns. As a result, India’s matches will be played in Dubai, making the event a hybrid-hosted tournament.
Australia and India remain the most successful teams in the tournament’s history, each having won the title twice. With an intense competition expected, fans are gearing up for high-stakes encounters and historic rivalries.
No entry with digital tickets!
As anticipation builds, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and ICC have released crucial ticketing guidelines for fans. Unlike previous events where digital tickets were accepted, only physical tickets will be valid for entry into stadiums across Pakistan.
To collect their tickets, fans must visit one of the 37 designated TCS Express Centres spread across 13 cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. The ticket collection process will begin on 7 February 2024 at 4 PM Pakistan Standard Time.
For verification, fans are required to present the original CNIC (Computerised National Identity Card) of the ticket purchaser. Without physical tickets, entry will be denied at the stadium gates.
Where to buy Champions Trophy 2025 tickets?
With less than fifteen days until the first match, cricket enthusiasts are urged to secure their tickets promptly. While online sales continue via the ICC’s official website, physical tickets are available at 108 TCS centres across 26 Pakistani cities.
Fans attending matches in Dubai are still awaiting official confirmation regarding ticket regulations, but as per ICC guidelines, purchases can be made exclusively through ICCChampionsTrophy.com/tickets.
