His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has approved the development of Therme Dubai, a Dh2 billion wellbeing resort set to be the world’s tallest of its kind.

Located in Zabeel Park, the project aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the UAE’s ‘Year of the Community’, enhancing quality of life and boosting medical tourism.

Spanning 500,000 square feet within a 100-metre-tall structure, the resort will feature three themed zones – Play, Relax, and Restore – offering a mix of wellness, entertainment, and natural experiences. It will also house the world’s largest indoor botanical garden, with over 200 plant species, as well as thermal pools, saunas, waterslides, and a Michelin-star restaurant.

Developed in partnership with Therme Group, a global wellbeing leader, the project is expected to attract 1.7 million visitors annually. Designed with sustainability at its core, the resort will recycle 90% of its thermal pool water and meet 80% of its cooling needs through clean energy.

Set to open in 2028, Therme Dubai aims to position the emirate as a global wellness tourism destination, integrating nature and urban design while promoting a healthier lifestyle for residents and visitors alike.
