DUBAI: Hospitality Management Holding (HMH) has announced the promotion of Haytham Abdelaziz to Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately.

This strategic decision is set to propel the company's operational excellence and drive growth in an increasingly competitive hospitality market.

Haytham’s ascent comes as the organisation prepares for a series of new property launches while focusing on elevating the existing portfolio. With a career spanning over 24 years in the hospitality sector, his deep expertise is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the future of HMH.

Strategic initiatives

In his new capacity as COO, Haytham will oversee the execution of key strategic initiatives aimed at optimising performance across HMH's diverse portfolio. He has been instrumental in the successful openings of the Coral Al Madinah Hotel and ECOS Dubai Hotel at Al Furjan, both of which have significantly enhanced the group's offerings and reputation. Furthermore, he will concentrate on forging strong partnerships with existing stakeholders while continuing to identify and explore opportunities for growth within the region. His hands-on approach and commitment to operational excellence are expected to drive the successful launch of upcoming properties.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Chairman of HMH, expressed confidence in Haytham’s leadership capabilities, stating, “Haytham has been instrumental in HMH’s progress and milestones. His deep operational knowledge, combined with his dedication to excellence, positions him as a capable leader to contribute to HMH’s long-term goals. I am confident his leadership will strengthen our position, delivering lasting value to our partners and investors.”

A proven track record

Haytham's journey with HMH began in 2014, during which he held various key positions, including Executive Assistant Manager at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel and General Manager at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah. His leadership during his tenure as Acting Cluster General Manager has garnered him a reputation for achieving exceptional results and raising operational standards. As HMH continues to expand its presence across the Middle East and North Africa, his focus on ensuring seamless market entry for new properties will be crucial in meeting the evolving demands of guests.

This advancement not only highlights HMH's commitment to nurturing and developing internal talent but also reflects the company’s focus on innovation and superior performance within the hospitality sector.
