DUBAI: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to host its 78th e-auction, offering 300 exclusive number plates for private and vintage vehicles, as well as motorcycles.
The auction features premium two, three, four, and five-digit numbers across various codes, including A to Z and the special (2) code for motorcycles.
Registration for the auction begins on Monday, 10 February, and will remain open for five days only. The online bidding process will officially start on Monday, 17 February.
Eligibility and Fees
Participants must have a valid Dubai traffic file to be eligible. A 5% VAT will be applied to all purchases.
To enter the auction, bidders must submit a security deposit cheque of Dh5,000, payable to the RTA, along with a non-refundable subscription fee of Dh120.
Payment options
Payments can be processed at Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Al Barsha, and Deira or through the official RTA website.
Winning bidders’ deadline
Successful bidders must complete payments within 10 working days after the auction ends. Transactions can be made in cash or via credit card at RTA’s Customer Happiness Centres or designated service provider centres.
