DUBAI: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, today visited the Ismaili Centre Dubai to express condolences on the passing of Prince Karim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan IV.

The top envoy, representing the Government and the people of Pakistan, paid homage to the late leader’s global humanitarian efforts and his deep-rooted connection with Pakistan.

During his visit, Ambassador Tirmizi described Prince Karim Aga Khan IV as a beacon of hope and a transformative force for underprivileged communities worldwide. He acknowledged the Aga Khan Development Network’s (AKDN) pivotal role in Pakistan’s socio-economic progress, particularly in education, healthcare, and rural development.

Warm reception by Ismaili leaders

Ambassador Tirmizi was received by Khalil Feroz Muhammad, Vice President of the Ismaili Centre Dubai; Akbar Verjee, Head of Diplomatic Relations; and Hassan Vellani, a senior community representative. Together, they reflected on Prince Karim Aga Khan IV’s extraordinary contributions to global development and pluralism.

Message of condolence

The Ambassador recorded his sentiments in the official condolence book at the Ismaili Centre Dubai. “The passing of His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV is a great loss for the global community. His legacy will continue to inspire us to strive for a more equitable and compassionate world,” he stated.
