Emirates cabin crew now have more shoe choices
All shoes arel manufactured in Spain from 100% leather
Dubai: Emirates Airlines, the world's largest international airline, has announced an update to its iconic cabin crew uniform program. Female cabin crew members will now have a wider selection of footwear, promoting greater comfort and personalized style during long-haul flights.
Expanded footwear options
Previously, the female cabin crew received a single style of shoe. The new program offers a selection of 15 different styles, all manufactured in Spain from 100% leather. This expanded range provides a variety of heel heights, widths, and overall designs to ensure a perfect fit and comfortable wear for every crew member.
A touch of bright red
The latest update also introduces a new, brighter shade of red for both the shoes and matching handbags. This bolder red complements the red trim on the uniform skirt and adds a touch of vibrancy to the overall look.
A look steeped in history
The current design, unveiled in 2008, reflects the desert dunes of the region with its warm sand-colored base. Signature elements include the red hat with its gold Emirates logo pin, the cream chiffon scarf symbolizing local culture, and the brown suit with red trim for male crew members.
Comfort and functionality at the forefront
Emirates prioritizes comfort, stain, and wrinkle resistance in their uniforms. This ensures cabin crew members look impeccable throughout their shifts, even on long-haul flights with varying climates. The uniform's adaptability allows the crew to seamlessly transition between destinations, from the scorching heat of Sao Paulo to the frigid winter of Moscow.
Beauty and wellness support for the crew
The airline also provides female cabin crew with signature red scrunchies for various elegant up-do hairstyles. A signature makeup look complements the uniform, featuring flawless skin, bold red lipstick, and natural-looking eye definition. Male crew members are required to be clean-shaven and maintain neat hair.
Emirates' commitment to crew well-being extends beyond uniforms. The "Emirates Beauty Hub" offers personalized consultations on makeup application, nutrition, fitness, skincare, and hair care. Crew members can also attend complimentary group workshops and masterclasses.
