Katy Perry to rock Abu Dhabi GP 2025 in UAE F1 concert debut
Exclusive performance for race ticket holders at Etihad Park on December 7

DUBAI: Global superstar Katy Perry will headline this year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race-day concert, bringing the curtain down on the 2025 Formula 1 season with a high-energy performance at Etihad Park on Yas Island.
Perry will take the stage on Sunday, December 7, following the final race at Yas Marina Circuit, performing a set packed with chart-topping hits.
This marks Perry’s first appearance at a Formula 1 concert in the UAE, and her second-ever performance in Abu Dhabi. The last time the pop singer graced the capital was on New Year’s Eve in 2017, also at Yas Island. Known for her powerhouse vocals, theatrical stage presence, and hit singles like Firework, Teenage Dream, Roar, and I Kissed a Girl, Perry is expected to deliver a spectacular show to thousands of racegoers.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, set for 4 to 7 December 2025, is not only the final race of the F1 calendar, but a global entertainment event. Over the years, its After-Race Concerts have featured music legends such as Paul McCartney, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Eminem, and Muse. The 2025 line-up will consist of four artists, with Perry being the first confirmed name, and the rest to be announced in the coming weeks.
Access to the concerts is exclusive to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders, with no separate ticket sales. Fans looking to get up close to the action can opt for a Golden Circle upgrade, which offers priority access near the stage. Tickets and upgrades are available at the official website.
Trackside thrills
The weekend promises high-octane motorsport drama, with the final race of the season held on Sunday at the 5.281km Yas Marina Circuit. The 2025 season kicked off earlier this year, and following the first three Grand Prix races, fans are already speculating who might claim the Constructors’ Championship and Drivers’ title.
In 2024, McLaren clinched the Constructors’ title with 666 points, their first since 1998. Ferrari trailed by just 14 points, making for a nail-biting season finale. Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen was crowned World Drivers’ Champion with 437 points, securing his fourth consecutive title.
Among the rising stars this year are rookies Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls), and Ollie Bearman (Haas) – already turning heads in the early races of the 2025 calendar.
