Dubai:  Emirates has completed the refurbishment of its first Boeing 777 aircraft, featuring the airline’s latest cabin interiors. The aircraft is set to take its maiden voyage to Geneva on August 7th, four days ahead of schedule.

New business and premium economy class debut

The revamped 777 boasts the airline’s highly anticipated new Business Class and Premium Economy cabins. These cabins offer passengers enhanced comfort, privacy, and luxury, setting a new benchmark for premium air travel.

Record-breaking refurbishment

The comprehensive refurbishment process took just 37 days to complete, a testament to Emirates' efficient in-house engineering team. The airline invested significant resources, including 330 square meters of carpets, 340 laminate sheets, and 8,000 square feet of leather, to create luxurious new cabins.

Enhanced passenger experience

The new Business Class cabin features a refined design with increased privacy and spacious seating. Passengers can enjoy direct aisle access, personal mini-bars, and state-of-the-art entertainment systems. The Premium Economy cabin offers ample legroom, comfortable seating, and modern amenities.

Global rollout planned

Emirates plans to refurbish a total of 80 Boeing 777 aircraft, representing an investment of over US$3 billion. The airline will gradually introduce the upgraded aircraft to various destinations, including Tokyo Haneda, Brussels, and several others to be announced soon.

Commitment to excellence

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines, expressed the airline’s dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences. “Our latest Boeing 777 with new signature interiors raises the industry benchmark when it comes to premium travel,” he said.

This significant investment in product development highlights Emirates’ commitment to maintaining its position as a leader in the aviation industry.
