Kuwait:  Kuwait has reopened visit visas for expatriates, but with strict regulations to ensure compliance with the country's immigration laws.

According to Sheikh Fahad Al Yousef, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, expatriates applying for visit visas must adhere to stringent requirements.

He also warned that legal action would be taken against anyone found in violation of the new rules.

Security crackdown

As part of the effort to maintain control over visa regulations, the Ministry of Interior launched a major security operation in Khaitan. The operation involved multiple security units and led to the issuance of 2,831 traffic citations, 34 arrests for residency violations and outstanding warrants, and the seizure of 22 wanted vehicles.

A similar campaign was conducted in Farwaniya, resulting in 2,833 traffic fines, 23 arrests for residency violations, and the seizure of additional vehicles.

Biometric registration compliance

The ministry also underscored the importance of biometric registration for expatriates. Officials warned that those who fail to comply with biometric registration will face severe penalties, including the suspension of their banking and government services.
