DUBAI: The Pakistan Business Council Dubai, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Pakistan, hosted a Suhoor event yesterday at the Pakistan Association Dubai.

The gathering aimed to promote the upcoming 4th edition of the Health, Engineering, and Minerals Show (HEMS 2025), set to take place from 17 to 19 April 2025 at the Expo Centre Lahore, Pakistan.

The event brought together key business figures, trade representatives, and industry leaders to explore trade and investment opportunities in Pakistan.

Addressing the audience, Consul General Hussain Muhammad encouraged UAE-based business leaders to send their representatives to the exhibition. He assured full support from the Government of Pakistan, stating, “The Consulate is here to extend all required assistance and facilitation to the visiting delegates to Pakistan.”

Ali Zeb Khan, Trade & Investment Counsellor, outlined the event’s objective, which was to prepare a delegation of buyers and importers to attend HEMS 2025. He stressed the importance of the exhibition, which is organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in partnership with the Export Development Board. The event serves as a platform for networking, trade expansion, and investment in key sectors.

Trade & Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan highlighted the significance of HEMS 2025 in strengthening Pakistan’s exports and international business ties.

Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai, Shabbir Merchant, and Vice Chairman Kamran Riyaz also addressed attendees. They emphasised the council’s role in connecting international business communities and underscored their commitment to strengthening bilateral trade ties between Pakistan and the UAE.

The event promotes HEMS 2025, a major trade exhibition set to take place from 17 to 19 April 2025 at Expo Centre Lahore, showcasing Pakistan’s key industries.

Mohammed Kaleem, a member of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai, also participated in discussions on enhancing UAE-Pakistan trade collaboration at the Suhoor event.

With an increasing focus on international business collaborations, the exhibition is expected to attract global investors, importers, and industry experts. As Pakistan aims to strengthen its trade ties with the UAE and beyond, HEMS 2025 is set to provide a valuable platform for fostering cross-border business partnerships and expanding market reach.
