Dubai Police have apprehended a young biker after viral videos showed him performing dangerous stunts and speeding through traffic on city roads.
The man, seen riding two different motorcycles during separate incidents, attempted to hide his identity and the bikes’ features to evade capture.
Using advanced technology, a specialised police team tracked him down and impounded the motorcycle under Decree No. 30 of 2023, which enforces a Dh50,000 release fee.
Authorities confirmed the biker has been referred to the relevant legal bodies and emphasised that over 80 percent of similar offenders have been involved in fatal or serious accidents. The police urged the public to report such reckless behaviour through official channels.
