Organised under the supervision of the Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta, and executed by Brand Dubai, this initiative is a collaborative effort involving key partners such as the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Municipality, Dubai Culture, Dubai Sports Council, and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). The goal is to showcase Hatta's seasonal appeal, promote sustainable tourism, and highlight the growing entrepreneurial spirit of the region.

Hatta Winter Festival

The Hatta Winter Festival is the cornerstone of this vibrant initiative. Held at Leem Lake amidst the stunning Hatta mountains, this festival offers a mix of thrilling outdoor activities, live music, entertainment, and delectable food stalls. With 30 homegrown businesses showcasing their products, it's the perfect place to immerse yourself in Hatta’s lively spirit and support local entrepreneurs. In addition, the festival will feature over 100 workshops, four community events, and 80 television episodes to bring the excitement to a wider audience.

“We aim to promote sustainable tourism and support local communities in Hatta,” said Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson of the Dubai Media Council. “With its breathtaking landscapes, diverse wildlife, and cultural heritage, Hatta offers something for everyone. This initiative is an opportunity to engage with the local community and foster a sustainable economic future for Hatta.”

Explore Hatta’s stunning landscapes while enjoying activities like mountain biking, zip-lining, and kayaking at the festive events.

RTA has also played a crucial role in facilitating access to the festivals. The introduction of 29 daily bus trips to key landmarks in Hatta, 14 direct trips connecting Dubai to Hatta, and 1,100 allocated parking spaces ensures easy transport for all visitors.

Hatta Cultural Nights

For a deeper connection to Hatta’s traditions, head to the Hatta Cultural Nights. This festival celebrates the region’s art, history, and cultural performances, with live installations and interactive exhibits. The stunning "Deliberate Pauses" installation by Emirati artist Shaikha Al Mazrou is a must-see, offering an immersive experience that brings Hatta’s rich heritage to life.

Mariam Dhain Al Tamimi, Manager of Al Shindagha Historical District at Dubai Culture, remarked, "Through Hatta Cultural Nights, we aim to deepen the public's connection to the traditions of this mountainous region, while showcasing the creative and artistic talents that define the spirit of the community."

Hatta Honey Festival

The Hatta Honey Festival shines a spotlight on the art of beekeeping, with 51 local beekeepers showcasing their organic honey products. Organised by Dubai Municipality, this festival underscores the region’s connection to sustainable agricultural practices. It’s a must-visit for food lovers and eco-enthusiasts alike, offering a taste of Hatta’s finest honey, directly sourced from local beekeepers.

The festival also promotes sustainable practices and serves as an educational hub for visitors looking to learn more about organic farming and the role of bees in preserving biodiversity.

Hatta Agricultural Festival

Scheduled for January 2025, the Hatta Agricultural Festival is a key part of the Hatta Winter initiative, providing farmers a platform to exhibit their crops and products. It’s an exciting opportunity to explore locally grown produce and learn about sustainable farming practices. By promoting food security and showcasing the UAE’s agricultural achievements, this festival plays a key role in highlighting the region’s agricultural traditions.

Ahmed Al Zarooni, Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, highlighted, "These events provide opportunities for farmers to showcase their products, exchange knowledge, and help boost the agricultural ecosystem."
