India’s vice-president unveils GP Hinduja’s ‘I Am?’ in New Delhi
Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan and King Charles III back the book’s message of universal unity

DUBAI: Gopichand P Hinduja, Chairman of the Hinduja Group, unveiled his latest book, I Am?, at a grand event in India yesterday.
The book explores spirituality and the shared values among world religions, aligning with the Indian philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – the world as one family.
The book launch in New Delhi was graced by India’s Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar, alongside political, business, and spiritual leaders. The event underscored Hinduja’s vision of promoting religious harmony and multicultural unity.
Prominent attendees included India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Rajya Sabha MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi, British High Commissioner Lindy Cameron, and corporate leaders such as Vipul Rungta of HDFC Capital and Navin Jindal of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd.
Global endorsements
Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, contributed a foreword to the book, emphasising its significance in bridging faiths. “This book highlights the considerable common ground among religions, encouraging unity through shared values,” he noted.
Among other global figures endorsing the book is King Charles III of the UK, reinforcing its universal message.
A thought-provoking message
The book draws from GP Hinduja’s discussions with spiritual masters, intellectuals, and world leaders. His aim is to provide the younger generation with a spiritual compass to navigate today’s interconnected world.
Vice President Dhankhar described I Am? as a “thought-provoking assimilation” of ideas, deeply relevant to India’s spiritual and philosophical traditions. “Unity does not mean uniformity. Bharatiyata is a perfect example, exemplifying unity in diversity,” he said during the launch.
Ashok P Hinduja, Chairman of Hinduja Group (India), echoed this sentiment, stating that their businesses thrive on multicultural understanding. “GP often wondered – if religion is meant to unite, why does it sometimes create division?” he remarked.
