Air Tanzania begins direct flight from Dar es Salaam to Dubai
Air Tanzania is poised to tap into new markets, including the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries
Dubai: Air Tanzania has successfully launched its new route from Dar es Salaam to Dubai, marking a significant milestone for the airline. Since its inauguration on March 31, 2024, the four-weekly flights between Dar es Salaam International Airport (DAR) and Dubai International Airport (DXB) have been steadily gaining popularity.
This expansion not only signifies Air Tanzania's commitment to growth but also highlights the tireless efforts of the company's Corporate Planning Unit based in Dar es Salaam.
Strategic partnership with AVIAREPS
To solidify its presence in the UAE and beyond, Air Tanzania has appointed AVIAREPS Middle East, a leader in aviation, tourism, and hospitality representation, marketing, and communications, as its General Sales Agent (GSA). With AVIAREPS' extensive network reaching 68 offices across 65 countries, Air Tanzania is poised to tap into new markets, including the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Flight details and passenger comfort
The new route operates with flight number TC 404 departing DAR at 8:00 PM local time on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving at DXB at 2:30 AM the following day. The return flight, TC 405, departs DXB at 4:00 AM local time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, touching down in DAR at 8:30 AM local time.
Passengers can expect unparalleled service and comfort aboard Air Tanzania's state-of-the-art Boeing 737-MAX 9 aircraft. The starting fare of $399 (return) includes generous luggage allowances.
