Emirati Human Resources Development Council Spearheads

Dubai:  In a landmark collaboration the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, in conjunction with the UAE Food and Beverage Business Group, held an important conference titled "Driving Emiratisation Practices and Partnerships" under the Ishraq program. More than 25 leading private sector companies participated in the conference to advance national employment initiatives, particularly focusing on integrating UAE nationals into the private sector.

Keynote address 

The conference commenced with an enlightening opening speech by Yousif Mohammed Bin Lahej Al Falasi, Senior Projects Manager at the Emirati Human Resources Development Council. He made a policy statement titled "The Emirati Talent Lifecycle: A Journey from Education to Employment," which provided new strategies for integrating Emirati talent into the workforce effectively.

Ahmad Al Falasi, General Manager of Partnership Relations at the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, set the tone for deliberations.

Keynote addresses, policy updates, fireside chats, and panel discussions tackled crucial aspects of Emiratisation, offering innovative strategies and practical solutions.

Held at the Etihad Museum, the conference was attended by notable figures including Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Deputy Chairman of the Council and Director-General of the Human Resources Department in Dubai, Dr. Eesa Mohammed Al Bastaki, The President of the University of Dubai, and Saleh Lootah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Food and Beverage Manufacturers Group. Their contributions provided invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities surrounding Emiratisation practices.

His Excellency Engineer Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, expressed gratitude to the participants and encouraged them to get actively involved in shaping the future landscape of Emiratisation.

Saleh Lootah echoed this sentiment, by saying: "Today's conference has been instrumental in fostering direct interactions that bridge the gap between labor market needs and Emirati talents. A highlight of the event was the fireside chat titled "Developing an Attractive Work Environment to Acquire the Best Minds and Talents," featuring esteemed speakers who delved into strategies for creating inclusive workplaces conducive to attracting and nurturing top Emirati talent. Additionally, panel discussions explored the alignment of education and workforce for building a robust career management ecosystem, emphasizing the importance of synchronizing educational outcomes with market requirements.

Towards a promising future

A brainstorming session called "Practical Approaches and Innovative Strategies" was led by the Emiratization Specialist under the ISHRAQ program at Dubai University. This session brought together distinguished participants including Ayesha Abdullah Burouk Almenhali, Fatima Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Alnaqbi, Ameera Alhaddad, and Jamal Al Suwaidi.

They shared their views and gathered information on the challenges and opportunities in Emiratisation. Their diverse perspectives and expertise contributed significantly to a rich discussion, generating a wide range of innovative ideas and practical solutions for advancing the Emiratisation agenda in the private sector.
