From 11AM to 11PM, the festival will showcase some of India’s biggest talents, led by Bollywood rap sensation Badshah, renowned playback singer Jonita Gandhi, and indie rock band Avial.
“This event will light up Dubai’s Diwali,” said organisers, promising a rich mix of cultural experiences and live entertainment.
Dubai’s Diwali event
This year’s event promises something for everyone. “We wanted to create a celebration that not only showcases Indian culture but also celebrates the vibrant UAE-Indian community,” organisers shared. Attendees can expect Bollywood rhythms, indie rock vibes, and classic Indian music that span generations and genres.
Alongside Badshah and Jonita Gandhi, the event will feature beloved indie band Avial, known for blending traditional Kerala sounds with rock music.
Comedy star Sundeep Anand will keep the energy high with his engaging, family-friendly performances.
Traditional Hindustani classical music and regional dances will honour India’s roots, providing a glimpse into the country’s rich heritage.
Highlighting Indian diversity
Emirates Loves India is going beyond music to create an immersive cultural experience. With 40 food stalls serving authentic Indian cuisine, visitors can savour dishes from all corners of India, from spicy street snacks to rich curries and sweets. Eight cultural stalls will highlight traditional crafts and practices from different Indian regions, while a lively cultural parade promises to showcase the diversity of Indian communities in the UAE.

Adding a unique element to this year’s celebration is an awards ceremony, which will honour Indian dignitaries and prominent achievers in the UAE. The awards will celebrate individuals who have made impactful contributions to UAE society across various fields. The event’s organisers hope this tribute will inspire future generations.
