Dubai has once again cemented its place on the global map with the launch of the Creators Headquarters at Emirates Towers.

This ambitious initiative, unveiled during the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, aims to attract 10,000 influencers to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), creating a transformative shift in the digital content industry.

The initiative aligns with the UAE’s mission to establish itself as a global hub for innovation and creativity in content creation.

Dh150m fund to drive creator economy

Announced under the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dh150 million ‘Content Creators Support Fund’ forms the backbone of this initiative. It is designed to fuel creativity, foster innovation, and position the UAE as a leader in the global creator economy.

Launched during the second edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit in 2024, the fund has already garnered attention from global influencers and industry leaders, laying the foundation for an integrated ecosystem.

The inaugural event of the Creators HQ welcomed 100 initial members, comprising top-tier creators and enablers from over 20 countries. Endorsed by leading global platforms like Meta, TikTok, X, and Tube Filter, this diverse assembly highlights the UAE’s commitment to cultural pluralism and collaboration.

More than 15,000 creators and industry leaders participated in the Summit, alongside 420 speakers and 125 CEOs, making it the largest event dedicated to the content creator economy.

Empowering talent through training

A key feature of Creators HQ is its commitment to nurturing talent through training. The initiative offers bespoke programmes that include mentorship from global leaders, creative camps for youth, and workshops on monetisation, sponsorships, and specialised content creation.

By equipping creators with these tools, the HQ seeks to foster sustainable growth within the digital economy while empowering individuals to maximise their potential.

The Creators HQ also targets a broad spectrum of talent, from social media influencers and podcasters to animation studios and fashion brands. It aims to build partnerships with tech giants, virtual reality developers, and AI start-ups, creating a fully integrated ecosystem for creators and their enablers.

Shaping the future of content creation

The launch of the Creators HQ not only marks a milestone for the UAE but also sets a global benchmark for supporting digital creators. With an ambitious goal of attracting 10,000 influencers, this initiative underscores Dubai’s vision of being a central player in the content-driven future.
