Riyadh: Saudi Arabia is set to host two major conferences this September— the MEP International Conference 2024 and the inaugural Building Envelope Design and Insulation Conference (BEDIC) 2024.
Supported by the Saudi Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs (Momrah) and the Saudi Building Code Committee, will be held on September 16 and 17 at the Jeddah Hilton.
These events aim to transform the construction sector in line with Vision 2030.
Driving innovation in construction
The MEP International Conference 2024, themed "Pioneering Sustainable Innovation," is crafted to foster meaningful dialogue on innovative practices within the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing sectors, with a focus on sustainable energy, smart building technologies, and digital transformation.
Supported by leading organisations such as KAFD Development, Roshn, and Red Sea Global, the conference will showcase insightful keynote presentations by prominent figures like Mohammed Asiri and Khalid Abdullah Al Molhem. Advancing Building Envelope Design
BEDIC 2024 will run concurrently with MEPIC 2024 and is dedicated to 'Advancing Building Envelope Design.’ This inaugural event focuses on building envelope design and insulation. MOMRAH supports it along with the National Committee for the Saudi Building Code and leading industry partners.
Agenda
The event will be inaugurated with a keynote address by Mohammed Al Mulhim, Deputy Minister for Licensing and Project Coordination, Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. The agenda will feature insights from key industry figures involved in giga projects such as New Murabba, Rua Al Madinah, Neom, and King Abdullah Financial District, focusing on the latest trends and technologies driving the future of building design in the kingdom.
