UAE Lottery: How you can claim Dh100 million and other prizes
Winners get 180 days to secure their prizes or forfeit
The UAE Lottery, launched in December 2024, has captured the imagination of residents across the nation with its lucrative jackpots and accessible entry fees.
The third draw, held on January 11, saw 11,368 winners walk away with prizes ranging from Dh100 to Dh1 million.
Prizes up to Dh100,000 are credited directly to winners' accounts. For amounts exceeding Dh100,000, winners must contact the UAE Lottery through their official channels, such as support@theuaelottery.ae or the helpline 800 2365. According to the operator, these larger prizes often require in-person claims for additional verification.
Strict verification process
Claiming higher-tier prizes involves providing detailed information, including facial scans for identification, payment details, and proof of entitlement. This rigorous process ensures transparency and prevents fraudulent claims.
The UAE Lottery operator stresses the importance of adhering to its rules, warning winners that failing to claim their prizes within 180 days will result in forfeiture.
First Dh1 million winner
For the first time since its inception, the January draw produced a Dh1 million winner, marking a milestone for the national lottery. The jackpot of Dh100 million, however, remains unclaimed, as no participant has yet matched the full combination of six day numbers and one month number.
The most recent draw saw 11,270 participants win Dh100 each, five winners claim Dh100,000, and 85 winners take home Dh1,000 prizes.
How the draw works
The lottery uses a calendar-based system where players select six day numbers from 1 to 31 and one month number from 1 to 12. Tickets are priced at Dh50, and draws occur live every second Saturday at 8:30 pm on the UAE Lottery’s YouTube channel.
UAE Lottery: Who can play?
The UAE Lottery is managed by Game LLC, a licensed operator under the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). The regulatory framework, established in September 2023, aims to position the UAE as a global leader in lottery and commercial gaming operations.
The national lottery is open to UAE residents aged 18 and above. Some independent prize draws may allow international participation.
