UAE set to welcome first Disney Stores in Abu Dhabi and Dubai this March
Fans can enjoy interactive spaces, exclusive collections, and beloved Disney characters
DUBAI: Disney fans in the UAE are in for a magical treat as the country’s first-ever standalone Disney Stores are set to open this March.
Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi will welcome Disney lovers on 26 March, while Dubai Mall’s flagship store will open on 28 March.
This exciting launch, brought to the region by Alshaya Group, marks a new era for Disney enthusiasts in the Emirates, offering an immersive shopping experience like never before.
Disney Stores in Abu Dhabi and Dubai
John Hadden, CEO of Alshaya Group, expressed excitement about the new stores, stating, “We are very proud to be bringing the first standalone Disney Stores to the UAE, with both Abu Dhabi and the flagship store in Dubai opening just before Eid al-Fitr. We are sure that Disney fans from across the Emirates – and visitors too – are excited to experience everything Disney has to offer; and stay tuned for some exclusive opening events during March and April!”

A magical experience
The Disney Stores in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will provide a fully immersive retail experience, bringing beloved characters and stories to life. Guests can explore interactive ‘Story Arc’ corners, which act as gateways into Disney’s most iconic tales. These areas allow visitors to step into a world of adventure, heroism, and imagination, making shopping a unique and memorable experience.
Fans will also be treated to exclusive photo spots featuring beautifully crafted murals and 3D sculptures of fan-favourite characters such as Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. Each Disney Store will have unique designs tailored to its location, adding to the charm and excitement.
Exclusive collections and merchandise
Visitors can shop a wide range of Disney products, from apparel, costumes, and accessories to plush toys, home décor, and collectibles. The stores will feature special product lines exclusive to the Middle East, giving fans access to merchandise they won’t find anywhere else. Whether it’s Disney classics, Pixar favourites, Marvel superheroes, or Star Wars adventures, there’s something for every Disney lover.
Grand openings in March
The first Disney Store in the UAE will open its doors on 26 March at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, followed by the Dubai Mall store on 28 March. The flagship store in Dubai is located on the second floor, near the Dubai Aquarium, and is set to become a major attraction within the shopping hub.
Disney fans can also look forward to a series of grand opening events throughout March and April, featuring special guests, exclusive surprises, and magical moments.
For those travelling across the region, Disney Stores can also be found at The Avenues in Kuwait and Doha Festival City in Qatar.
