The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has announced the integration of three key real estate services on the Dubai Now app, in line with the ambitious Services 360 policy.
This move aims to enhance user experience, improve flexibility, and provide residents with convenient access to essential property-related services via a single digital platform.
The DLD's collaboration with Digital Dubai reflects a shared commitment to providing seamless, accessible, and secure digital services.
Duaa Issam Dablan, Director of the Service Excellence Department at DLD, explained, “Dubai Land Department remains firmly committed to providing proactive, high-quality real estate services that are efficient and flexible. We are constantly striving to enhance the user experience and exceed their expectations by ensuring that our services are easily accessible, widely available, and operational around the clock, in alignment with the expectations and needs of our customers.”
Dubai Now app
The Dubai Now app now offers three primary real estate services, designed to streamline and digitise processes within the property sector:
- Property Status Inquiry: This feature allows users to instantly obtain comprehensive information about any property by entering details like the area and plot number, saving time and effort.
- Ownership Certificate Request: This service enables customers to request a certificate that confirms their property holdings directly through the app, making documentation easier and more efficient.
- Property Valuation Request: Users can submit electronic valuation requests, expediting the process and allowing property owners to access up-to-date assessments.
Hend Alnuaimi, Digital Products Director at Digital Dubai, commented, “This collaboration with the Dubai Land Department reflects Digital Dubai’s strategy to provide integrated service platforms that offer comprehensive digital experiences for customers. The inclusion of three real estate services through the Dubai Now application is a practical embodiment of our efforts to provide a digital infrastructure that combines reliability and security, serving as a strong support for one of the most vital sectors in Dubai — real estate, which is a key contributor to the emirate's economic ecosystem.”
How to access services through Dubai Now
The process to access these real estate services is user-friendly. Through the Dubai Now app, residents can request services by navigating to the designated sections for property status inquiries, ownership certificate requests, or valuation applications.
Each service provides step-by-step instructions, simplifying the experience and allowing users to complete transactions directly on their mobile devices.
Enhancing user experience
Dubai Now is already a comprehensive platform, enabling seamless access to numerous government services in a secure digital environment.
Hend Alnuaimi emphasised the platform's commitment to customer convenience, adding, “Dubai Now is a comprehensive platform for city services, enabling all government transactions to be carried out smoothly and securely. Continuous efforts are being made to develop the platform by adding more services, saving time and effort for customers and enhancing the user experience. As a result of these efforts, the application continues to strengthen its position as one of the most trusted among government entities in the emirate and individual users alike.”
With Dubai's real estate sector growing at a rapid pace, DLD is actively aligning its digital offerings with customer needs and expectations. The department conducts regular evaluations to ensure service quality and has emphasised its commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, making these services accessible through various official digital channels to boost customer satisfaction and adaptability to technological advancements.
