Dubai Mall has once again proven its appeal by welcoming a record-breaking 111 million visitors in 2024.

This figure surpasses its previous milestone of 105 million visitors in 2023, marking a significant rise in footfall.

It is the second year running that the mall has seen attendance exceed 100 million, a remarkable leap from the 88 million visitors in 2022.

Dubai Mall

Nestled in the shadow of the iconic Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall remains one of the city's premier attractions, drawing tourists from around the globe as well as local residents.

Spanning over 13 million square feet – an area equivalent to 200 football pitches – it holds the title of the world’s most visited shopping mall.

Home to more than 1,200 retail outlets, including flagship stores Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale’s, the mall offers a plethora of shopping experiences. Its 200+ dining options cater to a wide array of tastes, ensuring visitors never run out of choices.

Entertainment is a key draw, with the mall boasting the world’s largest aquarium within a shopping centre, an Olympic-sized ice rink, and a sprawling 24-screen cineplex.

The recent addition of a Chinatown district has further enhanced its appeal, featuring a bustling food hall, luxury spa facilities, and authentic East Asian delicacies.

Dh1.5 billion expansion underway

Dubai Mall’s future is equally promising, with a Dhs1.5 billion expansion set to add 240 luxury retail and dining outlets. This development aligns with its ongoing mission to remain a top-tier destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Changes in visitor experience

Recent updates to visitor policies include the introduction of paid parking for extended stays. Charges now apply for parking beyond four hours on weekdays and six hours on weekends, a move designed to manage the growing influx of visitors.
