One alliance, 225 destinations, unlimited connections
DUBAI: Seven years ago, Emirates and flydubai formed a strategic partnership to unlock new travel opportunities and provide travellers with unparalleled access to destinations worldwide.
Here are seven ways the collaboration between Emirates and flydubai has transformed travel for millions.
Expansive Network Access
The partnership grants travellers access to more than 225 destinations in over 100 countries. Emirates passengers can explore 118 flydubai destinations, while flydubai customers have access to over 136 Emirates locations. Top routes include popular spots like Baku, Krabi, Naples, and Zanzibar.
Extensive Codeshare Options
With an average of 275 daily codeshare flights, customers enjoy expanded schedules and greater flexibility for departure times. This interconnected schedule makes travel planning smoother and more convenient.
Impressive Passenger Volumes
Since 2017, Emirates and flydubai have operated over 1.5 million flights, carrying upwards of 19 million passengers across their shared network – roughly equivalent to the combined populations of Paris and New York.
Seamless Ground Services
At Dubai Airports, Emirates and flydubai ensure an integrated ground experience. Passengers benefit from optimised schedules, efficient baggage transfers, and streamlined check-in processes. Over 300 weekly flydubai flights depart from Terminal 3, with Business Class passengers accessing an exclusive check-in area at Terminal 2.
Premium Lounge Access
Both airlines provide access to world-class lounges, including Emirates’ signature lounges in Terminal 3. Over the past seven years, more than 250,000 flydubai passengers have enjoyed these premium amenities, enhancing their travel experience.
Enhanced Loyalty Benefits
The Emirates Skywards programme offers a shared loyalty currency, allowing over 2 million members from 190+ countries to earn and redeem Miles across both airlines. Platinum, Gold, and Silver members enjoy additional perks like priority check-in and extra baggage allowances, with revised Cash+Miles rates now available on flydubai flights.
Future-Focused Upgrades
Emirates and flydubai continue to improve the travel experience. Emirates is refreshing over 200 aircraft to include Premium Economy seating, while flydubai has retrofitted 15 aircraft and recently opened a dedicated Business Class check-in area at Terminal 2.
Together, Emirates and flydubai are dedicated to elevating the travel experience with expanded destination choices, premium on-ground services, and an enhanced loyalty programme.
