Dubai: McLaren Automotive unveiled its latest masterpiece, the Artura Spider, for the first time in the Middle East during a grand event held at the prestigious Alserkal Avenue in Dubai. Held in collaboration with Pirelli Middle East, the exclusive event, showcased the newest addition to the McLaren supercar lineup to a select group of VIP guests, McLaren enthusiasts, and prominent media figures.
The Artura Spider reflects McLaren's commitment to exquisite design and innovation. The unveiling took place at Concrete, an architectural landmark in Dubai known for being shortlisted for the esteemed Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
Unprecedented open-air performance
Positioned as McLaren's premier High-Performance Hybrid convertible, the Artura Spider boasts significant enhancements to power, performance, and driver engagement. These advancements, combined with the thrill of open-top driving, introduce an entirely new dimension to the Artura experience.
The Artura Spider is the lightest convertible in its class, enjoying a remarkable weight advantage of up to 83kg. This accomplishment is complemented by a recalibrated high-performance hybrid powertrain, capable of unleashing an aggregate power output of 700PS (690bhp), delivering exhilarating performance.
Tech innovation and enhanced driving experience
Further enhancing the Artura Spider's dynamic precision is the integration of Pirelli CyberTM Tyre technology. This innovative system, comprising both hardware and software seamlessly integrated with Artura's electronic architecture, provides real-time data empowering drivers to fully exploit the potential of the tires. Additionally, Pirelli's Noise Cancelling System (PNCS) reduces vibration and noise with a sound-absorbing device nestled within the tire wall.
A perfect fit for the discerning customer
Robert Holtshausen, Market Director for the Middle East & Africa, expressed his pride at the unveiling, stating, "We are extremely proud to unveil the new Artura Spider for the first time in the Middle East." He continued, "The Middle East is a key market for McLaren Automotive, and the new Artura Spider represents the ideal all-round offering for our discerning customers."
The debut of the Artura Spider coincides with the introduction of the MY25 Artura Coupe, which inherits all the enhancements, further solidifying its status as the pinnacle of next-generation supercars.
