Budget carrier’s sale runs until March 2, with travel valid into 2026

SHARJAH: UAE’s budget airline Air Arabia has launched its highly anticipated Super Seat Sale, offering 500,000 discounted seats across its entire network.

The sale, which runs from February 17 to March 2, features fares starting at just Dh129, making air travel more accessible and affordable.

Passengers can book these discounted tickets for travel between September 1, 2025, and March 28, 2026, giving them ample time to plan their trips. With flights operating from Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah, Air Arabia connects travellers to over 100 destinations across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.

As the largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, Air Arabia continues to expand its network and enhance passenger experience. In 2024 alone, the airline added 31 new routes, increasing its global connectivity to 220 destinations across its hubs. The airline’s growing fleet now consists of 81 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, reinforcing its position as a leader in affordable travel.

Passengers are encouraged to book their tickets as soon as possible, as the limited number of discounted seats is expected to sell out quickly. Bookings can be made directly through the official website or via authorised travel agents.

A record-breaking year

The launch of this sale follows a record-breaking year for the airline. Air Arabia reported a pre-tax net profit of Dh1.6 billion in 2024, a 4 percent increase from the Dh1.5 billion recorded in 2023. The company’s total turnover surged to Dh6.63 billion, reflecting an 11 percent growth from the previous year.

The airline also witnessed a 12 percent rise in passenger traffic, carrying 18.8 million passengers in 2024. The seat load factor climbed to 82 percent, indicating sustained demand for its budget-friendly services.

In line with its environmental commitments, Air Arabia has fully implemented biodegradable inflight service items and shifted to 100% recyclable food packaging. Additionally, the airline has introduced a paperless maintenance system to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.

Recognised for its industry excellence, Air Arabia secured multiple awards in 2024, including a Top 100 Listed Companies ranking by Forbes Middle East and the "Leading Low-Cost Airline Brand – MENA" award from Global Brands Magazine.
