Dubai: By Thursday morning, almost 1244 flights had been cancelled at Dubai Airport due to unprecedented rain that started on Tuesday and continued for two consecutive days. Also, 61 flights were diverted to nearby airports for safety reasons.
The airport has resumed partial operations at Terminals 1 and 3. The Dubai Airport spokesperson shared the data with the media.
Check-in has reopened for Emirates and Flydubai flights operating at Terminal 3. However, according to Dubai International Airport, only passengers with departure confirmation should go to the terminal to avoid inconvenience.
The spokesperson added that they were working to process guests quickly so people could travel to their destination.
