Emirates resumes check-in for departure
Passengers are still advised to check the flight schedule before going to the airport
Dubai: Emirates Airlines has reopened its check-in facilities after more than 24 hours of closure due to inclement weather in Dubai. The airline confirmed that passengers with confirmed flight bookings can now check in. However, due to the airport's congestion, Emirates has asked passengers to travel to the airport only with confirmed bookings.
The airline has also stated that customers impacted by flight cancellations should contact their booking agent or Emirates contact centre for rebooking. The airline has extended its sincerest apologies to affected customers who have experienced delays and disruption to their travel plans caused by bad weather and road conditions.
Despite reopening check-in facilities, arriving and departing flights may still be delayed. Emirates has encouraged passengers to check their flight statuses on the website before heading to the airport.
The temporary closure of the check-in facilities caused significant inconvenience to passengers, and Emirates has expressed regret for the situation. The airline is doing everything possible to minimize further disruptions caused by the ongoing weather conditions.
