DUBAI: Etihad Airways has announced a third daily flight between Abu Dhabi and Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO), increasing its service to 21 flights per week.
Operated on an Airbus A320, the expanded schedule provides enhanced connectivity for travellers between the Middle East and Russia.

New route to Sochi
In addition to bolstering its Moscow frequency, the UAE’s national carrier will launch a new service to Sochi on 29 May 2025. Known for its Black Sea coastline and winter sports, Sochi is Russia’s premier resort city, making it a key addition to Etihad’s expanding network.
Global expansion plans
Etihad has also announced several new routes set to commence from July 2025, including destinations such as Atlanta, Taipei, Krabi, and Algiers.
The airline stated that the increased Moscow service enhances connections to popular destinations across Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Indian subcontinent, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
