Dubai’s Meydan Racecourse was brimming with excitement as 6,000 runners, walkers, and dancers took part in The Music Run’s regional debut over the weekend.

The event, a 5km run set to the backdrop of high-energy music, saw participants groove to beats blaring from over 120 speakers, turning the course into a giant, pulsating party.

The run ended with an electric finish festival, featuring live DJs who kept the crowd dancing well into the evening.

Music Run

The Music Run’s Dubai debut coincided with the Dubai Fitness Challenge, an initiative encouraging residents to engage in 30 minutes of daily exercise over 30 days. The event demonstrated how music and fitness can combine to create a memorable experience.

“That was super fun! The music made it so much easier to get around the run course, and the finish festival was awesome. Such a fun way to get active with friends! Definitely a highlight of the Dubai Fitness Challenge so far!” said Paris Vorgias, a participant.

T100 World Tour Final

Adding to the weekend’s excitement was the T100 World Tour Final, which brought together amateur and professional triathletes for intense 100km races. Starting at 6:30AM, age group competitors took on a gruelling 2km swim, 80km bike ride, and 18km run, while the pro men’s race commenced at 1:30PM.
