Dubai: Emirates is set to enhance travel comfort with its newly retrofitted Boeing 777s featuring Premium Economy and a revamped Business Class. Starting next month, these upgraded aircraft will be deployed on six routes in the US, offering an elevated flying experience across all cabin classes.
The retrofitted Boeing 777s will serve flights to Chicago, Boston, Dallas Fort Worth, Seattle, and routes from Miami to Bogotá and Newark to Athens. Key dates for the rollout include:

Chicago: The retrofitted Boeing 777 will operate three times weekly on EK 235 and EK 236 from November 1, 2024, with daily flights starting November 22.

Boston: Starting December 10, 2024, Emirates will offer three weekly flights on EK 237 and EK 238, increasing to daily flights from December 18.

Dallas Fort Worth: From January 9, 2025, the Boeing 777 will fly three times weekly on EK 221 and EK 222, with daily flights beginning January 15.

Seattle: The aircraft will start flying on EK 229 and EK 230 from January 24, 2025.

Newark/Athens: Daily flights on EK 209 and EK 210 will begin on February 10, 2025.

Miami/Bogotá: Four weekly flights on EK 213 and EK 214 will start February 19, 2025, expanding to daily flights from March 1, 2025.
By February 2025, ten of Emirates’ twelve US gateways will feature Premium Economy, with the product also available in Latin America, including Bogotá and São Paulo. Emirates’ Boeing 777s and A380s will provide this premium service across 27 global cities by the end of 2024.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates, highlighted the success of Premium Economy on existing routes and the airline's commitment to providing more comfort and privacy across its network.
The retrofitted Boeing 777s feature six or eight First Class suites, 38 or 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 arrangement, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy Class seats. The refreshed interiors include new designs, colours, and finishes for an enhanced travel experience.
