DUBAI: Fi’lia, the region’s first fully female-led restaurant, welcomes Ramadan 2025 with a thoughtfully curated menu, blending Italian flavours with the cherished traditions of the holy month.
Located on the 70th floor of SLS Dubai, the restaurant offers a unique iftar experience crafted by Chef Célia Stoecklin, designed to celebrate the spirit of togetherness.
Antipasti selections
The menu begins with a delightful array of antipasti, featuring Italian Burrata paired with cucumber, fresh tomatoes, parsley, apples, pomegranate, and molasses. Guests can also enjoy a Cold Mezze selection, including stuffed dates, labneh, houmous, baba ghanouj, and yoghurt cucumber. A comforting Zuppa di Ceci, a warm chickpea soup with crispy onions and extra virgin olive oil, adds a homely touch to the spread.
Pasta and pizza delights
The primi piatti offerings bring Italian favourites to the table with a Ramadan twist. Guests can savour Pizza Al Salami E Mozzarella, a classic combination of rich flavours, or indulge in the bold and spicy Spaghetti All’Arabbiata, creating a perfect balance of taste and texture.
Flavourful mains
For the main course, Fi’lia presents Pollo alla Griglia, a succulent grilled baby chicken dish accompanied by orzo, caramelised onions, gremolata, and green olives. This fusion of Italian and Middle Eastern elements offers a unique take on Ramadan culinary traditions.
A sweet finale
To end the meal on a delightful note, Fi’lia reinvents a regional favourite with its Kunafa e Pistachio. The dessert features delicate phyllo dough filled with gooey mozzarella, complemented by a scoop of refreshing pistachio ice cream, delivering a perfect blend of textures and flavours.
