Abu Dhabi: US-Bangla Airlines has commenced its inaugural flight to Abu Dhabi, marking the airline's third UAE destination.
The move addresses the rising demand from Bangladeshi expatriates in Abu Dhabi.
The airline will operate flights from Dhaka to Abu Dhabi four times weekly, and from Chattogram three times weekly. Flights are scheduled to arrive in Abu Dhabi at 9:10 PM local time, with return flights departing at 10:00 PM. The maiden flight, a Boeing 737-800 accommodating 174 passengers, departed from Chattogram and is expected to land in Abu Dhabi at 9:10 PM local time before returning to Dhaka.
This strategic initiative not only serves the travel needs of the Bangladeshi community but also strengthens bilateral ties. Senior US-Bangla officials bid farewell to passengers on the inaugural flights, emphasizing the significance of the new route.
US-Bangla Airlines continues to expand its domestic and international network, including flights to Cox's Bazar, Chattogram, Sylhet, Saidpur, Jashore, Rajshahi, and four additional flights on the Dhaka-Chennai route, totaling 11 weekly flights.
