Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has entered into a strategic agreement with seven leading real estate developers in Dubai to grant them the authority to use DLD's registration systems for their real estate transactions. This partnership aims to enhance efficiency, transparency, and investor protection in the local real estate market.

Participating developers

The agreement includes Emaar Properties, DAMAC, Binghatti Properties, Aldar Properties, Sobha Realty, Azizi Developments, and Danube. These developers will leverage DLD's advanced registration systems to provide high-quality services to their clients.

Enhanced market confidence and investor protection

Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at DLD, stated that the partnership aims to bolster market confidence, strengthen investor rights, and streamline procedures. He emphasized the importance of collaboration with the private sector and integration with government services to ensure the delivery of proactive real estate services.

Streamlined registration processes

Under the agreement, the developers will be granted full permission to use DLD's systems to register and audit all real estate transactions. This will significantly reduce registration times from days to minutes, increase transaction capacity, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Supporting economic growth and investment

By empowering real estate companies to meet the growing demand for properties, this agreement contributes to economic growth and attracts more investment into Dubai's real estate market. Additionally, DLD's improved supervision and regulation of the market through effective transaction tracking will further strengthen the emirate's position as a global leader in real estate management and development.
