Dubai: HealthStay.io, a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF) Cohort 7 Accelerator, has officially launched its world-first AI-powered sales and booking management solution, designed to transform medical tourism in the UAE and beyond.

This groundbreaking solution is developed in partnership with Dubai Health Experience (DXH), a part of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). HealthStay.io’s platform serves as a comprehensive link between medical tourists and healthcare providers in Dubai, automating the entire process—from selecting medical procedures to making all necessary bookings, including appointments, travel, and accommodation. The system integrates seamlessly with the international patient section of hospitals’ websites.

Fatima Al Naqbi, Chief Innovation Officer at the Ministry of Finance, and official representative of the MBRIF.

Commenting on the launch, Fatima Yousif Alnaqbi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector, Chief Innovation Officer at the Ministry of Finance, and MBRIF representative, said: “We are pleased to support innovative initiatives that contribute to strengthening the UAE's position as a global center of excellence. The launch of HealthStay.io, which enhances the medical tourism experience in our country, highlights the importance of programs like our Innovation Accelerator and their role in fostering impactful innovation that positively contributes to the economy.”

HealthStay.io’s solution simplifies the complex processes involved in medical tourism, offering an automated system for patients to select practitioners, finalize appointments, and manage flights, visas, and accommodations—all from one platform. For hospitals, the solution features a custom-built CRM that automates customer acquisition, lead qualification, and process efficiency.

Sean Conaty, Co-founder & CEO of HealthStay.io, said: “HealthStay.io showcases how AI can advance medical tourism in the UAE, turning innovation into reality. With approximately 674,000 medical tourists visiting Dubai in 2022 and AED 992 million spent on Dubai-based medical services, there is immense growth potential in the industry. Our solution makes the process quicker, easier, and more efficient for all stakeholders.”

The platform has received endorsement from DXH and is currently finalizing registration with DHA, ensuring compliance with local regulations. This will allow DXH members to integrate HealthStay.io’s AI-powered solution into their operations, enabling medical facilities to streamline bookings and services for international clients.

Ruairi Tubrid, Co-founder & COO of HealthStay.io, added: “We are grateful for the support from DXH, DHA, and the MBRIF Innovation Accelerator. Their shared vision has been crucial in bringing our solution to life and contributing to Dubai’s reputation as a leader in healthcare tourism.”

HealthStay.io was recently awarded Best UAE Homegrown Business by a panel of distinguished investors as part of the MBRIF Accelerator Cohort 7 graduation.
