SHARJAH: The 35th edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2025 is set to commence tomorrow (Saturday), and will continue until March 31, offering a dynamic mix of shopping, entertainment, and cultural activities across the emirate.
Organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the festival is one of the UAE’s most anticipated annual events, transforming the emirate into a vibrant hub of Ramadan festivities. With the participation of major shopping centres, retail outlets, and small businesses, the festival creates a lively and enriching atmosphere.
Visitors can expect exclusive promotions, special discounts, and exciting prizes, ensuring a rewarding shopping experience throughout Ramadan.
Cultural highlights
Among the most awaited attractions is the “Al Liyah Ramadan Market”, a unique showcase of the UAE’s heritage and craftsmanship. The market features a wide range of traditional clothing, handicrafts, home goods, and Emirati delicacies, offering visitors an immersive cultural experience.
The festival’s cultural offerings also include folk performances, heritage-themed activities, and interactive workshops designed to highlight Islamic and Emirati traditions.
Shopping and prizes
Shopping enthusiasts will be treated to a month-long retail extravaganza, with numerous malls and stores offering exclusive deals, discounts, and giveaways. Customers will have the chance to win valuable prizes through raffles and promotions organised by leading shopping centres.

Little Master Chef
One of the festival’s highlights is the "Little Master Chef" contest, which will take place from March 14 to 16 at 06 Mall. Young culinary talents will showcase their skills in a lively competition designed to encourage creativity in cooking.
In addition, children can participate in Ramadan-themed handicraft workshops, where they will create festive decorations and learn about traditional crafts.
Ramadan Nights exhibition
A major attraction of the festival is the “Ramadan Nights” exhibition, which will open on March 6 at Expo Centre Sharjah. With over 200 exhibitors and 500 international and local brands, the exhibition offers a diverse shopping experience, featuring everything from fashion and electronics to household essentials.
Visitors can also explore the Heritage Village, which presents a variety of folk art performances, cultural competitions, and traditional Emirati activities, celebrating the essence of Ramadan.
