Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recognised Yusuf Mohammed Abdullah Ismail, an employee at Tasjeel’s vehicle testing and registration centre, following high praise from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.
The honour was awarded after a secret shopper’s report highlighted the employee’s exceptional service and commitment to ensuring a seamless customer experience.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum shared details of the report on social media, acknowledging Yusuf’s positive attitude and efficiency in assisting customers. “In a recent report I received from a mystery shopper at the Customer Service Center for Vehicle Inspection and Registration in Al Qusais, we followed Yousef Mohammed Abdullah, a hardworking, cheerful young man who takes the initiative to serve people and is eager to complete their transactions,” he stated.
The Ruler of Dubai further commended Yusuf’s ability to handle a high volume of customers while maintaining professionalism, noting that “customers flock to him and thank him for his service.”
Secret shopper’s findings
Mystery shopping is a process in which a company evaluates service standards by sending an undercover evaluator to assess employee performance and customer satisfaction. The secret shopper’s report on the Al Qusais service centre confirmed that Yusuf displayed dedication, efficiency, and a welcoming approach, ensuring a smooth transaction process for visitors.
Following the Dubai Ruler's recognition, RTA’s Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, Mattar Al Tayer, personally honoured Yusuf, praising his dedication to customer service and his role in upholding Dubai’s reputation for excellence. Al Tayer highlighted the significance of such contributions in improving service standards across government and private entities.
