Dubai Police add 200 Toyota Land Cruisers to patrol fleet
New LC300s enhance rescue and safety operations with advanced capabilities
Dubai Police have significantly upgraded their patrol and rescue fleet by adding 200 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 SUVs.
The collaboration between Al-Futtaim Motors, the exclusive distributor of Toyota vehicles in the UAE, and the Dubai Police Transport and Rescue Department was formalised at a ceremonial handover attended by senior officials from both organisations.
Commenting on the development, Yousuf AlRaeesi, Director of GCR & HSSE at Al-Futtaim Automotive, stated: “This fleet expansion marks an exciting new chapter in our collaboration with Dubai Police. Delivering 200 units of the legendary SUV into public service reinforces our shared commitment to excellence and public safety.”
The new fleet is expected to significantly enhance the operational capabilities of Dubai Police, equipping the force with robust vehicles ideal for the UAE’s challenging terrains.

Toyota’s Land Cruiser models have been a trusted choice for Dubai Police over the years, with earlier versions like the Land Cruiser Prado, Land Cruiser 70 Series, and Toyota FJ Cruiser proving instrumental in supporting public safety operations. The addition of the LC300 underscores the enduring partnership between Toyota and Dubai Police in prioritising innovation and reliability.
Senior officials, including Jacques Brent, Managing Director for Toyota & Lexus UAE, and Antoine Barthes, Vice President of Al-Futtaim Automotive, attended the handover ceremony. Their presence further highlighted the shared vision of advancing mobility solutions to meet the growing demands of law enforcement.

The Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 is designed to excel in diverse conditions, making it an ideal choice for Dubai Police. It boasts advanced features, including the world-first E-KDSS (Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System), which enhances stability and control, alongside the Multi-Terrain Monitor and Multi-Terrain Select for optimised performance across different surfaces.
A newly developed 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbo engine powers the LC300, delivering performance surpassing that of traditional V8 engines. Combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a lighter body, the vehicle ensures enhanced fuel efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
