ADCB tops UAE banking brands with Dh12.3 billion brand value
Group CEO Ala’a Eraiqat ranks 12th globally in brand guardianship

ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) has retained its title as the strongest banking brand in the UAE for the second consecutive year, according to Brand Finance’s Top 500 Banking Brands 2025 report.
The bank’s brand value has jumped by 17%, reaching Dh12.3 billion, which marks a significant leap in global rankings – up seven places to 102nd. This performance exceeds both the UAE banking sector’s 16 percent average brand value growth and the global banking industry’s 14 percent increase.
ADCB's brand power
A key factor behind ADCB’s ascent is its brand strength score, now at 81.5%, earning it a ‘AAA-’ rating – the highest among all UAE banks. This score reflects robust brand investment, stakeholder equity, and business performance. ADCB’s digital-first strategy, powered by AI and personalisation tools, continues to redefine the customer experience, supporting its vision to lead in innovation and service excellence.
Leadership recognition
Brand Finance also ranks ADCB Group CEO Ala’a Eraiqat as the 12th strongest CEO in global banking brand guardianship and the top performer in the UAE – for the third year in a row. His leadership is credited with reinforcing ADCB’s bold trajectory in an increasingly competitive landscape.

Pushing boundaries
Savio D’Souza, Senior Director at Brand Finance, highlighted the bank’s progress: “ADCB’s impressive rise in brand value reflects a well-executed strategy focused on innovation, customer experience, and leadership.” The recognition underscores ADCB’s continued role as a pacesetter in the regional banking scene.
